Publisher CRITICAL REFLEX and developer 2Awesome Studio have announced Altered Alma is launching its Kickstarter and a playable demo soon.

Their stylish, cyberpunk metroidvania with RPG elements will launch its Kickstarter campaign on September 3rd alongside a playable demo for Windows PC (via Steam).

Altered Alma is expected to release in November of 2025 for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5.

Altered Alma combines the beloved classic Metroidvania formula with RPG elements, dating sim features, a slick pixel-art presentation, and a gripping story. Whether you want to beat up bad guys, find love, or just explore the beautiful cyberpunk cityscape, Neo Barcelona awaits!
