A year ago this month, the Studio One building of Kyoto Animation was the target of a deadly arson attack in which 35 individuals lost their lives. Shortly after a successful crowdfunding campaign raised over ¥5.7 million JPY for the victims and their families.
Despite the setback caused by the arson attack, a new Violet Evergarden movie is expected to come out later this year.
