Alien: Isolation is Fully Revealed

It seems the rumors and murmurs have been proven true, following the trademark of Alien: Isolation by Sega and the supposed leak of a few pieces of art (including the box art), Alien: Isolation is real, and it looks very promising.

Alien: Isolation is indeed being developed by Creative Assembly with Sega as the publisher, and it’s in development for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The game is being primed for release sometime later this year.

Players will step into the shoes of Ellen Ripley’s daughter, playing from a first person perspective. The goal of the game at Creative Assembly is to recapture the essence of the truly frightening experience that Ridley Scott pioneered back in 1979 with the original Alien movie.

You can view the debut trailer for the game below:

The game’s official description teases the horrors that lie in wait:

“On a decommissioned trading station in the fringes of space, fear and panic have gripped the inhabitants. Players find themselves in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger as an unpredictable, ruthless Xenomorph is stalking and killing deep in the shadows. Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.”

Finally, take a gander at the first batch of screenshots for the game below. Some of them look so good (although the trailer does as well), I think I’ll have to consider them bullshots for now:
