The Behemoth have announced their next and fifth game, Alien Hominid Invasion.
Details are scant at this time, but we do know from the announcement by the developer’s official Twitter that the game is a “reinvention of Alien Hominid HD will feature new gameplay, progression, mechanics, & more.”
The reveal during the Behemoth’s Twitch livestream confirmed the game was a brand new game, as oppose to a remake of past Alien Hominid games, and that the game would support co-op.
The trailer also reveals the game will be playable at PAX East 2020 (running from February 27th to March 1st in Boston, Massachusetts), and EGX Rezzed 2020 (March 26th to 28th in London, England).

For those unfamiliar, the original Alien Hominid first appeared on Adobe Flash game and animation website Newgrounds in 2002. The game was so popular it later lead to console ports in 2004, and the game’s creators (Tom Fulp and Dan Paladin) forming The Behemoth studio. Alien Hominid HD also launched in 2007.
Alien Hominid Invasion is coming soon to unannounced platforms.
