Alan Wake II reportedly launching in October

Alan Wake II

It’s been nearly a year since we’ve heard anything on Alan Wake II, however a recent tease may have leaked the game’s targeted release date.

While development is going well on the long-awaited sequel, Alan Wake voice actor Matthew Porretta has seemingly leaked when the game will launch.

Alan Wake II will reportedly launch sometime in October – news confirmed by Porretta in a new episode of the Monsters, Madness and Magic podcast (editor’s note: around the 16:30 mark).

Previously, developer Remedy Entertainment said the game was definitely on track for a release sometime in 2023.

“That’s supposed to come out in October, we’re in the middle of working on it now. In fact, I was just in Finland the last week,” Peretta said. “That’s where the company is from, Remedy, amazing people.”

Alan Wake II is planned to release across Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 sometime in 2023.
