Japanese developer Key has announced a Steam release for AIR, their classic 2000s visual novel and the second title released by the studio.
AIR is coming to Windows PC (via Steam) on March 5th worldwide and will support Japanese, English, and Chinese language options. The game is fully Steam Deck supported as well.
While the game was released back in 2000 for Windows and has been ported to a number of platforms like the Sega Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, early phones, PSP, PS Vita, modern smartphones, and the Switch – this is the first official English release for the game as previous releases were fan translations.

AIR is the work from the visual novel studio, Key, known for titles such as CLANNAD, Little Busters, Summer Pockets and more. It received great acclaim and was even adapted into an anime series.

- The text can be set to Japanese, English, or Simplified Chinese (audio only available in Japanese). This includes in-game text, options, and the digital manual. Language settings can be changed at any time.
- Touch gestures can also be used if you’re playing on a tablet PC or a Steam Deck.
