Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition gets co-op

Publisher Microsoft and co-developers Tantalus Media and Forgotten Empires announced Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition gets co-op in a new update.

While the game has been available since October 2020, Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition gets co-op in a long-awaited update, enabling players to play together in Historical Battles.

Here’s a rundown on what to expect in the new update:

Brief Synopsis on Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition Co-op

  • Experience story-driven historical narratives and objectives, together.
  • The same Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition
    gameplay you know, but tailored for the cooperative experience.
  • Fully voiced In-game dialogue (In all supported languages).
  • Beautifully crafted maps, cities and cinematics.
  • Additionally, all AI players have been updated to now fight against two opponents instead of one. You’ll need to coordinate to conquer!

Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition is now available for Windows PC via Steam, the Microsoft store, and is available on Xbox Game Pass as well.
