Microsoft has finally brought Age of Empires: Definitive Edition to Steam.

The classic real-time strategy game is now available for Windows PC, via Steam. You can check out a trailer above.

This modernized re-release of the classic game originally developed by Ensemble Studios was first released on the Microsoft Store in February 2018. It features support for 4K resolutions, tweaked mechanics, redone voice acting and narration, 8-player online multiplayer, and more.

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is also part of Xbox Game Pass for PC, and has cross-platform multiplayer between Steam and the Game Pass versions.
