In “Against Great Darkness,” players will choose their pagan deity to embark on a quest to break free from the clutches of Lucifer himself. Armed with a trusty set of disks, players must juggle their way through hordes of demonic foes, each more formidable than the last, as they progress through the treacherous circles of hell. Each run acquire powerful relics during each allowing them to empower their disc-juggling skills to unleash devastating destruction and discover synergies that can truly set them free.
With over 100 items offering unique modifiers based on gameplay, players will have a wide array of strategic choices at their disposal. Players must make crucial decisions during their journey, such as acquiring motes of light, purchasing items in the shop, receiving much-needed healing, or taking a chance with unique mystery events that can either greatly reward or hinder their ascent. Every choice counts, and every decision can mean the difference between victory and defeat. For those moments when a risky juggle puts players in harm’s way and ends their run, fear not. Radiant Shards collected during attempts can be used to empower subsequent runs, ensuring that every playthrough brings them closer to freedom.
