Cameroon-based studio Kiro’o Tales have announced the release date for their Kickstarter-funded action RPG, Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan.
The game will be launching for PC via Steam, on April 14th. Featured above, the developer shared a new trailer for the game, which showcases a bit of its story, characters, and of course – its in-depth combat system. It’s worth mentioning the video was dubbed into the Bassa language, spoken by the Bassa peple of Cameroon.
Here are the game’s key features:
- Epic and strategic real-time fighting, visually evolving combos!
- Gather your Legacy and merge the Aurions to create new ones (21 aurionical transformations can be done!)
- Powerful duels with immersive fighting dialogues
- Unique scenario & lots of powerful enemies and bosses
Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan is an action-RPG set deep within African mythology and folklore, putting the player in control of Enzo Kori-Odan, Prince of Zama, as well as his wife Erine Evou. Your journey is set on reclaiming your kingdom from Erine’s brother.
The most noticeable part of the RPG is its combat system, which is more on par with something you’d find in a 2D fighting game rather an RPG – however it looks both flashy and yet rewarding.
You can pre-order the game here, via the publisher’s website. Expect our review for the game in the coming weeks.
