Grim Dawn is an action RPG in the vein of the classic Diablo loot-fest games, and it was supposed to launch back in 2011, only to be delayed and see a successful Kickstarter run for the game in April of 2012. The game has been in Steam Early Access ever since.

Now, developers Crate Entertainment have announced that the latest update to Grim Dawn has made the game “content complete,” meaning you can play from the beginning of the game straight to its conclusion without running into inaccessible things. This includes items, quests, difficulty settings, and more.

“Nothing is blocked off, no quests remain that cannot be completed,” the studio said in the update. “There is no cruel Clone of John Bourbon awaiting you at the end of the line to tell you that you must wait for the next update. Starting today, you have the full experience from start to finish.”

This new update increases the level cap, raising it to 85, adds the Elite and Ultimate difficulties, opens the second roguelike dungeon, and it also incorporates over 500 new items, which includes “Empowered Epics,” as well as more than 240 individual pieces of Legendary loot.

Finally, Crate said that while there is still lots of work to be done like bug fixes, balancing, further polishing the entire game – they are on track for a full release in February of 2016.
