Dark Point Games announced Achilles: Legends Untold is getting console ports alongside its full PC release later this year.

The dark isometric action RPG is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 alongside its full release on Windows PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store). The game has been in early access since earlier in 2022.

Here’s a rundown on the game:

Achilles: Legends Untold is an isometric action-RPG, greatly inspired by the souls-like genre and old-school hack & slash games. Players will have to rely on Achilles’ raw power to overcome legendary characters and creatures from Homer’s Iliad while taking in Ancient Greece through rich lore and environmental storytelling as they make their way to the gates of Troy and beyond.

As the studio wanted to create an easy-to-learn-but-hard-to master-experience the combat is designed with souls-like tactics in mind, without letting it become a barrier to newer players. This way, Achilles: Legends Untold may be enjoyed by souls veterans and new players alike. For those who prefer fighting side-by-side with friends, the game also provides a robust co-op experience with procedurally generated dungeons to explore, allowing you and your friends to hone their skills even further.

The gameplay features satisfying and skill-based combat, RPG elements, and resource management. Collect raw materials to bring to the forge to create new deadly weapons and sturdy shields to take Achilles to the peak of his power. As you watch Achilles become stronger and more ferocious with each ability you pick up, you as the player will also have to adapt to the world, as Achilles is not the only one picking up new tricks along the way.

Achilles: Legends Untold features the innovative GAIA system, responsible for the AI characters’ actions to feel lifelike and work together in unpredictable ways. Take part in the journey of Achilles, who stands in the middle of the centuries-long conflict between Hades and Ares. The young hero is being sent to battle the War God’s child – Phobos. His journey will take him to many different corners of mythological lands where he will obtain powerful artifacts that will aid him in his quest. Achilles is not alone as Hephaistos – the god of blacksmiths – is always ready to craft new weapons in exchange for materials.

Hack Your Way, Slash the Monsters
