Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy Plus Revealed, Launches February 13

The demons of Razgriz take flight once more. Namco Bandai and Project Aces announced the latest installment of their famed arcade flight series, Ace Combat. The new entry will be called Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy Plus.

Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the aerial arcade flight game coming to the Nintendo 3DS. Legacy Plus takes the main strengths of the Ace Combat series where players will take to the skies in a variety of real-life, licensed aircraft to fight hundreds of air, ground, and sea targets in the aftermath of wars fought between Yuktobonia, Auerlia, Belka, and the Osean Federation. Players fly in accurately, realistically rendered aircraft and embark on over 30 different missions to crush the enemy Ace squadrons and other over-the-top military hardware.

Unique to this game will be the inclusion of Amiibo support. The trailer above highlights some special missions involving shooting the legendary question boxes from the Mario series and even acquiring special skins for the aircraft, modeled after Nintendo characters like Samus Aran, Bowser, and Mario.

Players can have their amiibos scanned in to unlock these skins. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy Plus is due out on Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL platforms on February 13th.
