A Tense Gameplay Trailer for NightCry

Nude Maker have released a gameplay trailer for their point-and-click survival horror, NightCry, which explains how the game works (“The basic controls are simple; just point and click.”). Too, we finally get to see the Scissor Walker, the game’s antagonist, in action. The sample music used is outstanding.

The developers have finally decided on a distribution plan for the PC port of the game: it will be available both via Steam and DRM-free.

The amount raised through crowdfunding for the PC port is currently $47,661, with the total needed for the crowdfunding to succeed being $300,000. This is surprising, considering the stellar list of developers assembled for the project. Feel free to speculate as to the reason for the game’s underperformance on Kickstarter below.

NightCry is being developed for mobile devices and the Playstation Vita handheld. A PC version of the game will happen if the crowdfunding succeeds.
