Cartoon Network and Little Orbit have confirmed that they’re developing a totally new Adventure Time game, as well as a brand new game inspired by the Cartoon Network as a whole. Both games are tentatively set for a release in Q4 of this year.

Both games are assumed to be launching globally, although the release date or more concrete information was not confirmed. Little Orbit president Matt Scott said that this new partnership would bring “truly transmedia experiences” into gaming.

Previously, Adventure Time has already gotten the video game adaptation treatment in both Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?! and Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know!, both of which were developed by Wayforward Technologies for handhelds and consoles.
