The last time we talked about Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day, we didn’t have much to show as the game was recently unveiled.

Now, we have some absolutely gorgeous new footage from Namco Bandai that covers pretty much everything about the game. The project spans the talent of Goichi Suda (No More Heroes, Killer is Dead), Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira) and Youhei Takaoka (Tokyo Jungle).

The game is based off the animation that Katsuhiro Otomo is working on, titled Short Peace. In the game you’ll be playing as Ranko Tsukigime, the daughter of a Japanese zaibatsu boss. Ranko lives a double life, during the day she’s an average high school student – at night she’s an assassin, taking on hit missions.

Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day is coming exclusively to Playstation 3 on January 16th of next year.
