Following the previous tease at a new character and a potential new edition for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, we’ve learned that the new character is indeed a female Tengu fighter.

The leak, via Famitsu, also provides some information regarding an update that is incoming for both the arcade and console versions of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. The update is due later this month, and it brings with it a lot of new content.

The most notable of these updates is the aforementioned female Tengu that is joining the roster. She’s literally called Female Tengu, and her voice is done by Akemi Sato. Her fighting style is a named Tengu-do, and it’s a mix of aerial attacks and wind gusts, making her a formidable and unpredictable foe.

Also coming with the update is the Kasumi clone, Phase-4, who is also going to be playable. Lastly, a bunch of exercise themed outfits will be coming with the update as well.
