A Demo for Bravely Default is Coming Next Month

Nintendo and Square Enix are launching a demo for Bravely Default in North America next month. The date you Americans will be able to finally play the game in some capacity will be January 2nd.

The American demo will be a lot like the European version in that it has an exclusive story that features hours of content that is not in the main game. So, if you want to get the complete experience, you better play that darn demo.

Nintendo also shared some details for a few new features that are coming to Bravely Default. If you close your 3DS or put it into standby mode, you can gather extra warriors together via StreetPass, and you can even earn Sleep Points for every eight hours you don’t play the game.

Sleep Points were detailed, they can be used during battle to change your equipment, heal your party members, revive a fallen ally, or even unlock new and deadly attacks. If you’re getting impatient and want to refill your Sleep Points sooner, you can purchase SP Potions via the eShop.

Bravely Default is currently available to European 3DS owners, while Americans have to wait until February 7th.
