Although the kickstarter for Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians has been successfully funded, it unfortunately fell short of its home console and handheld stretch goals for Playstation Vita, Playstation 4, and the 3DS which sat at $1,000,000, $1,250,000 and $1,500,000 respectively.

Thankfully, Playdek has revealed that it’s going to open up pledges on their website via PayPal, so that fans who haven’t gotten the chance to pledge can, and the game may have yet another chance at reaching some of its stretch goals. These PayPal pledges will contribute to the previously confirmed stretch goals, which hopefully means the game will get some longer legs.

Despite the talented veteran cast of developers behind the project, Unsung Story took a long time to just barely get funded in the last moments of its crowd funding campaign, which many attributed to its confusing initial reveal as a tabletop RPG and a game, or the fact that the developers said the game will be made regardless of whether or not its campaign had been funded.
