You read that headline right – Sony Online Entertainment is going to host a 12 hour live stream for their ambitious new zombie MMORPG, H1Z1, beginning at 9 AM PST, today.
The new stream will be viewable from their Twitch channel, and it will be taking place in their San Diego headquarters until midnight tonight for us east coaster dwellers.
Just in case you thought that the only means to witness the game is via the stream – you’d be mistaken! If you live in the bay area, you can head on over to their HQ and actually play the game, and meet with the team as well, from 12 PM to 5 PM PST.
The zombie survival MMO is heading to PC first (naturally), with a Playstation 4 version planned for a date after the PC version’s launch. In the game, you can team up against the zombies or simply prey upon other players, or just burn everything to the ground.
H1Z1 will eventually be free to play when it releases, but fans will be able to gain alpha access via Steam Early Access next month.
