As promised, Capcom has announced Resident Evil: Veronica, a new remake/reimagining of the classic game Resident Evil: Code Veronica.

Resident Evil Veronica is in development for Windows PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PlayStation 5 with a release set for 2027.

Resident Evil Veronica will draw players into a desperate escape filled with horror and madness through the isolated, zombie-filled Rockfort Island. Developed on Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE, the game will introduce modernized gameplay with a chilling level of realism designed to push survival horror to new heights.
