February 28, 2017 at 11:40 pmlol did we? I’m fairly neutral on it as a strictly-PC gamer but i’m quite sure “we” didn’t know the Switch is better than the PS4.

February 28, 2017 at 11:45 pmI dunno, I don’t really care for hardware as much as software.
I’m just saying that such a glut of “indie” content (some of which has been already available for years) might not be very good for the image of this brave little toaster.

March 1, 2017 at 1:58 amThat image says they’re compensating for the big name publishers not giving a fuck which is going to hurt them because it compounds with the image of their last console which is the absolute last thing they need. And ultimately what’s a point these indie games can run on anything having them be exclusive to any platform? Reeks of bullshit to anyone but the platform warriortards and it doesn’t fly in a world that remembers when exclusive games used to hardware pushing not modern games that look like high end NES games especially when we live in a time when exclusive has quotation marks around it, it was eyerolling when Ouya tired to play that card and the few times Sony and MS have as well.

March 1, 2017 at 8:26 amAny of those games exclusive or are they just old ports?

March 1, 2017 at 8:27 amI think calling it a Vita would be more accurate here; overpriced handheld with further pricing issues (memory cards/paid online), meager first party support, overreliance on indies in lieu of bigger third party titles.

March 1, 2017 at 8:37 amMostly stuff that already released elsewhere (mainly Steam), with some timed (console) exclusivity deals sprinkled in here and there.
You can recognize which ones have deals behind them by paying attention to their logo size and placement, with the paid ones having theirs centered and made larger.

March 1, 2017 at 9:45 amIf only the console didn’t look worse than the Wiiu in terms of everything but actual hardware. seriously at this point I’m just about to say “fuck the switch”.

March 1, 2017 at 10:52 amVita outlasted and outsold the Ouya by a looooong shot though.

March 1, 2017 at 10:55 am“Hey guys! Buy our console to experience a collection mostly made of games released months to years ago! And if you never played Skyrim, hold your horses because our version will be the best one!”

March 1, 2017 at 11:47 amWe’re getting several new games alongside great ports.
Stay mad.
This isn’t a PS4 situation where NOTHING new gets released for years on end.

March 1, 2017 at 12:04 pmYou love shitposting just as much as me but you just shitpost against Sony and I shitpost against everyone but Sony LMAO.
Not really sure how though seeing as Nintendo always gets the least games.

March 1, 2017 at 12:04 pmThe PS4 will outlive the Switch screencap my post.

March 1, 2017 at 8:48 pmStop it Travis. You’re rep here speaks for itself. You’re not going to be taken seriously here.

March 5, 2017 at 9:42 pmNon-AAA game != indie game. Can anyone develop an indie title for Switch? No. It’s still a closed system like PS4 and Xbone, you’re not fooling anyone.

April 19, 2017 at 12:30 pmI understand that everyone is upset here about this, and I know that I’m late but here is the silver lining here. People like indie games just as much as you guys like the AAA games. Zelda BOTW is actually really good, they worked really hard on that game and I’m definitely looking forward to a Smash Bros on the switch. I’m a hard core PC gamer and not much of a console guy, but I definitely like the portables. Personally I like Terraria, idk if I’ll like Minecraft on the switch since I may not be able to have my own skin and be forced to use their skins and have to pay for them. Thats really my only hate for the console version of Minecraft. But Terraria is a game I spent many hours playing on the Vita, however there is a lot of framerate drops on the Vita version and I know that the Switch can push that power to unlimited 60fps.
I’m sure that many of you will think I’m stupid for even putting my 6 pennies in here but I don’t like that there are so many ignorant selfish belligerent entitled children getting on forums just to mash gaming companies. As much as I agree with the fact that most companies don’t get new AAA games fast enough, you have to realize that it’s not easy to do. If you were a game designer, you would know exactly that. I’m sorry that people “No-Life” games and are done with them like people did for Fallout 4. And again with my opinion, I believe games like that are for people who have lives and jobs and things to do so much so that they don’t have much time to put into a game like Fallout 4 so they are still playing it even to this day (like me). I have played many hours on Fallout 4 and still haven’t even completed the story line.
Anyways, my point is, it’s really not that bad that they bring the Indie games to Switch, at least they are giving us content while we wait for games such as Mario Odyssey and Smash Bros, or maybe a sick ass Pokemon Game. or the GameCube Ports (Hopefully the good ones like Mario Sunshine).
I just think people should wake up and be a bit more open minded. its really not all that bad. And one last thing before I end this. I really think Skyrim Remastered on the Switch would be really cool but even better if Bethesda would allow Mods that we can have on PC like better texture mods or new races and stuff. I don’t like that they have set mods to be only assets of the game itself and honestly that’s just crap and major blow to the modding community.
