$420 Life-Size Poseable Lucario Pokemon Plush Available to Order Now

Pokemon Lucario Plush

The Pokemon Company have announced they are selling a life-sized plush of the Pokemon Lucario for $419.99 USD.

Standing at 47 and a quarter inches tall (accurate to the in-game height of 3’11”, or 1.2 m), the Pokemon Center original plush is based on the Aura Pokemon. A Fighting and Steel-type, it has the ability to detect “auras”- the life-force of all living things.

Lucario are able to not only detect auras from half a mile away, but can even read thoughts and feelings. Perhaps that’s why the screenshots on the Pokemon Center website seem to show it getting along so well with what could be the buyer’s girlfriend, sister, mother, or themselves.

Those tender-looking photos also show off how the plush has bendable arms for custom poses, and can even stand on its own two legs (with a little help from its tail). The plush will ship in late April 2022, and buyers will not be charged until it ships.

Lucario is one of the many returning “Generation 4” Pokemon appearing in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Lucario’s first mainline Pokemon game appearance was in the original Diamond and Pearl (April 22nd, 2007 in North America).

However, it first appeared in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team (as a cameo, September 18th, 2006), and starred in film Pokemon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew (September 19th, 2006).

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl are available now on Nintendo Switch. You can expect our review soon.
