Nintendo has announced a permanent price drop for the Nintendo 2DS handheld.

The slate-designed, non-3D handheld will go down to $79.99 from its $99.99 price tag, beginning May 20th. They also confirmed that some 2DS systems will now come with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed.

Nintendo also confirmed the both Style Savvy: Fasion Forward and Disney Magical World 2 will be coming to North America. The former will launch on August 19th while the latter is launching on October 14th.
