Sekai Project and developer Chloro have announced visual novel 2236 A.D. Secretary Stories.
A sequel to 2236 A.D., that game takes places in the far future where humanity communicates via telepathy. Yotsuba notices a young girl who did not use telepathy, but five years later finds an abandoned manor.
While that visual novel tackled sad moments, 2236 A.D. Secretary Stories promises laughs and “there aren’t really any tears but in any case, it is a visual novel about how Masuko is cute.” Even so the game is “a nonsensical story between man and AI that seems heartwarming but may not actually be heartwarming.”
Masuko is the Personal A.I. Secretary System for Yotsuba, living within his smartphone. Taking place several months before the events of 2236 A.D. You can find the full rundown (via Sekai Project) below.
This is a story about Masuko, the Personal A.I. Secretary System (PASS) for Smart Tools* and her owner, Yotsuba.
The day is January 1, 2236 A.D. and the start of the year hasn’t gone as well as it could have.
