Independent developer Midboss has finally confirmed a release date for 2064: Read Only Memories, the upcoming enhanced version of their throwback cyberpunk adventure game.
The game will launch for PlayStation 4 on September 27th, and sometime in November for PC, Mac, and Linux. Fans who own the original version of the game will get the updated content for free. Unfortunately, there was no mention of the game’s planned release on PS Vita.
Midboss responded to fans asking about the PS Vita port saying it’s not cancelled, and that they “are working on it and think we should have no problems getting it out eventually!” The game’s Xbox One version is still planned, with Midboss saying they’ve “got the build working and running perfectly,” and that it needs to “go through FQA.”
2064: Read Only Memories will bring with it new animations, new art, new characters, and more in what the developers poise as the “director’s cut” of the game.
