Independent developer Midboss was supposed to launch 2064: Read Only Memories for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita back on August 16th. That day came and went, and now we’ve learned the PlayStation versions have been delayed indefinitely.
The developer announced the delay over on their Twitter, stating those versions of the game were delayed due to “unforeseen circumstances” that came up “at the end of porting.”
Fans can expect new animations, new art, new characters, and more in what is essentially the “director’s cut” of the game. Whenever the new 2064 version of the game does launch, PC owners of the original Read Only Memories will get the update and new content for free.
