Sega has released Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps episode 1, the first half of their two-part animation series for upcoming remaster Sonic Colors Ultimate.
Here’s Sonic Colors: Rise of the Wisps Episode 1:
UPDATE: As seen in the above video’s credits, Tails is now voiced by Kate Higgins. She voiced Tails in the original Sonic Colors, and in other Sonic games and media from around 2010 to 2013. Whether this means she will be returning as Tails voice for future Sonic Rangers or Sonic Prime is unknown.
When the voice cast revealed they were no longer voicing their characters (with Roger Craig Smith as Sonic returning and Dr. Eggman voice actor Mike Pollock keeping his role) this meant that Colleen O’Shaughnessey would no longer return to voice Tails. She had voiced him since 2014 (including in the Sonic Boom animated series), until 2021.
