MiHoYo have released a teaser trailer for Yoimiya, the next character to be added to their gacha action-RPG, Genshin Impact.

Yoimiya is one of the many new faces that will be added to the game as players explore the nation of Inazuma; the new region that was added in the 2.0 update.

The owner of Naganohara Fireworks, Yoimiya is known for the extravagant pyrotechnics displays she hosts during Inazuma’s many summer events and festivals. Yoimiya was introduced to players in a recent story quest that released alongside 2.0.

The new character is a 5-star pyro bow user that focuses on burst damage. She is capable of marking enemies with her Elemental abilities, coordinating high damage pyro explosions with the rest of your party when they attack the marked targets.

Yoimiya is one of three new characters added in 2.0, and one of two 5-stars alongside Kamisato Ayaka, who is the focus of the current The Heron’s Court limited character event wish banner. Yoimiya will be the focus of the next limited character event wish banner, which will launch once the Ayaka banner ends. The same banner will also include Sayu, a new 4-star Anemo claymore character.
