Bandai Namco has announced Gundam Evolution, a new free-to-play first-person shooter that is currently in development.

While platforms for Gundam Evolution weren’t announced, a closed beta test is set for August 8 to 9 in Japan, and a full release is set for 2022.

GUNDAM EVOLUTION is an FPS title that allows players to pilot mobile suits from the popular anime series “Gundam” and experience the speedy and immersive 6v6 team battles.

The game is basically free-to-play, and is being developed for the official service in 2022. In preparation for the official service in 2022, a closed beta test (CBT) will be conducted for the purpose of game tuning and functional verification.
