Japanese developer Edia has announced side-scrolling action games Valis 1-3 are coming to Nintendo Switch.

The Switch ports for Valis: The Fantasm Soldier, Valis II, and Valis III are planned alongside a crowdfunding campaign for the development of the ports, via Makuake.

It’s worth noting only the fourth game, Super Valis IV (which itself is a redone port of the PC Engine Super CD-ROM original Valis IV), is available for the Switch in Japan via the Nintendo Switch Online Super Nintendo App.

Lastly, Edia also confirmed they’re going to reprint PC Engine versions of all three original Valis games Valis: The Fantasm Soldier, Valis II, and Valis III to celebrate the series 35th anniversary.
