The Good Life is delayed to fall 2021 beyond its planned summer 2021 release, alongside the news that Playism is now the publisher over former publisher The Irregular Corporation.
When The Good Life launches it will be available across Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. The game has a price point set to $29.99.

While The Good Life is delayed to fall 2021, the game was originally intended to release in Q4 of 2019 and pushed back to the spring of 2020. The game was then pushed back again from the spring of 2020 to what was the final speculative release date of summer 2021.

Naomi Hayward finds herself far from her New York home. Out of her depth and drowning in debt, she is commissioned by The Morning Bell newspaper to uncover the mystery behind Rainy Woods – a rural English town considered to be the ‘happiest in the world’. With her camera at the ready she starts her investigation but soon finds that the town – and its wonderfully quirky residents – are hiding many secrets. Not least, why they transform into cats and dogs at night. Caught up in the town’s enchantment – Naomi must use her new found animal skills to uncover the truth about Rainy Woods.
