Square Enix have announced their E3 2021 “Square Enix Presents Summer 2021” digital showcase; which will feature Babylon’s Fall and more.
As stated in the press release, the digital showcase will reveal world premieres, new games, updates, and more. The 40 minute livestream will include;
- “The world premiere of a new game from Eidos–Montréal
- An exciting update on BABYLON’S FALL™
- Details about Marvel’s Avengers Expansion: Black Panther- War for Wakanda and updates on upcoming in-game events
- A deep dive on Life is Strange: True Colors™ and a first look at Life is Strange: Remastered Collection”
We previously reported on how a closed beta test for Babylon’s Fall was been discovered on Steam. It seems likely that at least one bit of news will be the announcement of that, and possibly imminent release. Other recent rumors include a Nintendo Switch version of NieR Replicant, and a PlayStation exclusive Souls-like Final Fantasy.
Other Square Enix games we may see or learn more about include the Legend of Mana remaster, Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate, NEO: The World Ends with You, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, and Yoko Taro’s latest game that even he cannot describe.
