The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) have announced E3 2021 will have its own awards show, voted by a jury of gaming press.
Editors from IGN, GameSpot, PC Gamer and GamesRadar+ will vote on titles showcased across E3 2021, and the various awards to be given during the Official E3 2021 Awards Show. It will be hosted by Greg Miller, Jacki Jing, and Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez.
The award show will also feature its own reveals for new and upcoming games, along with publisher press conferences, developer interviews, panel discussions, and more.
“For this year’s event, we are collaborating with editors at some of the world’s leading video game media outlets to create the Official E3 2021 Awards Show recognizing the show’s most anticipated games,” said Stanley Pierre-Louis, President & CEO of the ESA.
“The broadcast is going to be packed with exciting announcements and reveals, and celebrating innovative publishers and developers is an ideal way to close E3 2021.”
The Official E3 2021 Awards Show premieres June 15th via Twitch, and YouTube. The purely-digital E3 2021 runs from June 12th to June 15th. In case you missed it, you can find our E3 2021 schedule here.
