Owlcat Games has announced the full release, retail version for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous launches September 2 for PC.
When Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous launches in September for PC it will be available via Steam and GOG. Owlcat noted they’ll share plans for the console versions of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous “in the near future.”
Alongside the news of the release date for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is that a second beta is now available for the game, via Steam. Backers who contributed to its Kickstarter or its Slacker Backer campaigns in the relevant tiers will get immediate access to the game’s new beta. If you already played the first beta, you can just update your file to jump into the second beta.
The game’s second beta covers the first four chapters in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and includes new content like Crusade gameplay, new side quests, a weather system, an intelligent weapon companion, and more.
While the original Pathfinder: Kingmaker had players building their own kingdom, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous sees players lead armies as a Crusade commander and fight against demonic armies with strategic army management and tactical turn-based combat inspired by Heroes of Might and Magic III.
The original Pathfinder: Kingmaker is available on Windows PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam and GOG for $39.99. In case you missed it, you can find our review here.
