CD Projekt RED has announced the next-generation versions for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will launch sometime in the second half of 2021.

The new update will come to Windows PC, Xbox Series X+S, and PlayStation 5 as a free update to current owners of the game on current platforms, as well as a standalone purchase.

As per our previous coverage, the next-generation port for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will include a range of visual and technical improvements — including ray tracing and faster loading times — across the base game, both expansions, and all extra content.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available for Windows PC (via GOG, Origin, and Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In case you missed it, you can read our review for the base game here. We highly recommend it! In fact, it was Game of the Year 2015!
