Steel Wool Studios have announced the release date year for Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, along with a debut gameplay trailer.
As previously reported, the game takes place at Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizza Plex; a three story entertainment complex with animatronics. The new gameplay trailer has finally provided more information on the game.
Players are trapped in the facility as Gregory (confirmed to be a child thanks to Funko Pop merchandise) with a single security guard, and all new 80s glamrock inspired animatronics.
Players now explore a full 3D facility in first person, while the animatronics hunt you down, and you must escape by morning. As with all Five Nights at Freddy’s games, there is a far deeper mystery to the evil that is unfolding.
The aforementioned Funko Pop merchandise may mean players are able to climb inside some animatronics for safety. Considering how the first game had the animatronics trying to stuff the player into the robotic suits (a process that would kill them), it will be interesting to see if this is entirely safe.
We will keep you informed as we learn more.
