Ubisoft have announced Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has been delayed, with no new release date.
Developed by Ubisoft Pune (with the original being developed by Ubisoft Montreal), the game was originally slated for January 21st for Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store, and Uplay), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. It was later delayed to March 18th, citing “2020 has been a year like no other.”
Now it has been delayed again, but with no new release date confirmed. The reason cited was to ensure the game “feels fresh while remaining faithful to the original.” This may have been prompted by fan feedback on trailers and screenshots already released.
