Following a successful fan campaign, Lego an Sega have announced they’re going to produce an official Sonic the Hedgehog Lego set.

The new Sonic the Hedgehog Lego set is based on one of the more recent releases in the franchise – Sonic Mania. Fans voted over 10,000 times to get Lego to approve the design, which UK-based Sonic fan Viv Grannell created.

The set will include the iconic characters and environments from the 2017 platformer, Sonic Mania, culminating in a celebration of both the past and the future of Sonic the Hedgehog – as well as the series’ 30th anniversary, which is coming up in June of this year.
