New Pokemon Snap Launches April 30 on Nintendo Switch

New Pokemon Snap

Nintendo have announced the release date of New Pokemon Snap, along with a new gameplay trailer and information.

As stated in the press release, players will explore the Lental region, capturing photos of Pokemon in a wide variety of natural habitats on behalf of Professor Mirror. The game launches April 30th on Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are available today.

Players can throw Fluffruit to feed and attract some Pokemon, even drawing some out of hiding. Depending on what the Pokemon is doing at the time of their picture being taken, how much they fill the frame, and if they are facing the camera; Professor Mirror will reward the player with more points.

Players may also come across glowing Pokemon and plants, signs of the Illumina Phenomenon. Players must fill their Photodex, travel across various paths in the NEO-ONE, and get the bottom of the region’s mysteries.

You can find the release date trailer below.
