Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced the release date for Jump Force DLC character Giorno Giovanna from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Giorno and Yoruichi Shihōin from Bleach were revealed ahead of their official announcements, due to a “work-in-progress” update being released and subsequently data-mined. Bandai Namco Entertainment also insisted that Giorno was still in development, and as such may differ from the videos that were uploaded by third parties.
Now, Bandai Namco Entertainment’s European branch have announced the DLC character’s release date on Twitter. While there has been no official word from the American branch, it seems all but certain that this will be the release date in all regions.
UPDATE: Bandai Namco Entertainment America have also confirmed the Spring 2021 release date in a recent news post.

Giorno Giovanni will launch Spring 2021 as part of Character Pass 2 Previous characters include My Hero Academia’s Shoto Todoroki, Meruem from Hunter X Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho’s Hiei, and Yoruichi Shihōin from Bleach.
For those unfamiliar, Giorno Giovanna is the illegitimate son of Dio- seeking to rise up the ranks of Italian mafia organization Passione. His stand is Gold Experience, letting him create life. This allows him to create small animals, insects, and plants from inanimate objects. When these are attacked, they reflect the damage back onto the attacker.
Gold Experience can also be used to accelerate a subject’s thought processes, heighten senses, make pain feel greater over a longer period of time, rapid aging, create organs and flesh, and sense nearby lifeforms.
Later it becomes Gold Experience Requiem. Along with its current abilities being enhanced, it can manipulate causality and reverting things to before the event; dubbed “Return to Zero.”
