Atlus have officially announced the western release date for Persona 5 Strikers (known as Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers in Japan).
We previously reported how a trailer showing the release date was briefly made available online before being pulled. As stated then, the game will launch in the west on February 23rd for Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. Pre-orders will begin December 10th at 4 p.m. PT.
As stated in the press release (via email), the game takes place in the summer vacation (as previously reported, half a year after the events of Persona 5). The gang’s road trip across Japan is interrupted, as reality twists and metaverse Palaces appear in the real world.
Now the gang must journey across six Japanese cities, beat back Shadows in “pause-and-plan” action combat with old and new members of the Phantom Thieves, and trying out the local sights and food.
