Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition

Publisher Nacon and developer Eko Software have announced the release date for Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition.

Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition is set to launch for Windows PC and Xbox Series X+S on November 10th worldwide, and for PlayStation 5 on November 12th in North America, Australia, and New Zealand, and lastly on November 19th for the other regions. Pre-orders are now available on Amazon (Editor’s Note: Affiliate Link) and other retailers.

To recap, the Slayer Edition for the game includes all 12 post-launch downloadable content packs, as well as every update ranging from Keela the Dwarf Engineer, the Tower of Chaos, and more – all running at 4K resolution and 60FPS on Xbox Series X+S and PS5. There’s a new character, Jurgen Haider the Witch Hunter, who will be available as paid DLC for the current-gen versions.

Nacon also confirmed a free patch for the current-gen versions of the game, which brings improvements for new players and fans of the first hour of the game. The two hubs of Act 1 and Act 2 have been expanded and the area around the camp of Act 2 has also been enhanced with new enemies to fight. There is also a new area – the cemetery – which adds a new environment and a larger bestiary. This also brings new enemies, including Daemon Princes, Skullcrushers (mounted and on foot), a Chaos Warrior and new cultists.
