Ubisoft has announced a delay for both Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine.
Both Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine will miss their planned releases on February 18th, 2021 for Far Cry 6 and sometime between fiscal year 2020 and 2021 for Rainbow Six Quarantine – news confirmed via the publisher’s latest financial report.
Both games are now launching sometime between fiscal year 2021 to 2022, meaning they’ll launch sometime between April 1st, 2021 (start of their fiscal year) and March 31st, 2022 (end of their fiscal year). This is actually the second delay for Rainbow Six Quarantine, as it was originally set to release sometime in 2020.
Ubisoft noted despite their strong performance lately, they pushed the release for both Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine to the next fiscal year, so they can “leverage their full potential in the context of production challenges caused by COVID-19.”
Far Cry 6 is set to release across Windows PC (via UPlay), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. Rainbow Six Quarantine is set to release across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
