Sega is offering the classic NiGHTS Into Dreams free as part of their 60th anniversary celebration.

If you head over to the official website for Sega’s 60th anniversary and sign up for their newsletter, you just need to mention Steam is your preferred platform, authenticate to your Steam account, and then you’ll get a free copy of the classic game in your library.


NiGHTS Into Dreams was originally released in 1996 for the Sega Saturn. While Sonic Team began working on NiGHTS after development on Sonic & Knuckles wrapped up, the concept for it first game up during the development of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, back in 1992. It focused on the concept of flying, and even came with a crazy Saturn 3D controller.
