Bandai Namco has confirmed Tekken 7 has sold over six million units.
The news comes via Tekken series director Katsuhiro Harada over on Twitter, who confirmed the latest in their long-running fighting game franchise reached the new milestone. Previously, the game had reached the five million units sold mark earlier this year – meaning quite a lot of new players hopped on over the summer.
Tekken 7 was originally released for Japanese arcades back in 2015, with a console release a bit later in 2017, and has received a bevvy of post-launch updates and DLC, currently on its fourth season of DLC content.
Tekken 7 is available for Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In case you missed it, you can find our review here (we highly recommend it).
