Sony Interactive Entertainment have revealed a new gameplay trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales during the PlayStation 5 showcase.
The game launches Holiday 2020 for PlayStation 4 (as revealed on the PlayStation Blog), and PlayStation 5, The game is developed by Insomniac Games.
As explained on the PlayStation Blog and in the trailer itself, the game takes place one year after the events of the first game. While Miles’ mom is rallying in Harlem for election to the city council, energy corporation Roxxon and The Underground- a “criminal army”- have gone to war.
The Underground is led by the Tinkerer, and seek Roxxon’s new energy source (“NuForm”). Both them and Roxxon are armed with high-tech weapons, putting the rally and the city in danger.
Miles posses the ability to turn invisible, and electrically-charged attacks; along side his wall-crawling, spidey-sense, and super-human strength and agility.
Along with revealing the game coming to PlayStation 4, it was revealed the game would support next-gen upgrade to PlayStation 5. Finally, the game’s Ultimate Edition will include a voucher for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered; including all of The City That Never Sleeps DLC campaign.
