Greenheart Games have announced Game Dev Tycoon will be heading to Nintendo Switch, and that the game will soon support cross-platform saves.

The game will be ported by Rarebyte, the same studio behind the Android and iOS port of the game. Further, the game on all platforms will support cross-platform saves after a free update.

Players are tasked with starting in a garage in the 80s, slowly learning what does and does not work for games, until they have built a thriving game studio empire. Invest in R&D, and build your perfect game.

In Game Dev Tycoon you replay the history of the gaming industry by starting your own video game development company in the 80s. Create best selling games. Research new technologies and invent new game types. Become the leader of the market and gain worldwide fans.
