Square Enix have released 20 minutes of discussion with the producer and art director of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition.
The video was recorded in 2018, but features discussions with producer Akitoshi Kawazu, and art director and character designer Toshiyuki Itahana on the development of the Remaster, and of the original game as well. We also hear music from the game throughout, and get a look at some of the new player character designs for the various races.

Story
Long ago, a giant meteorite fell on the land, and deadly miasma blanketed the world.
Crystals keep the deadly miasma in check, but the crystals’ power is not eternal.
