505 Games has announced the release date of Control‘s second expansion AWE, during PlayStation’s State of Play livestream.
This second and final expansion, players will take Jesse Faden to the Oldest House. This is where the Federal Bureau of Control used to examine Altered World Events- AWE. This is where the paranatural enters the real world, with devastating consequences.
Players will need to explore the AWEs to reclaim the Investigations Sector from its clutches. One of these AWEs takes place in the town of Bright Falls, and focuses on the disappearance of writer Alan Wake.

The AWEÂ expansion launches August 27th.
Control is out now on Windows PC (via the Epic Games Store, August 2020 on Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
